I’ve been in the design industry for +5 years. I craft digital products that are useful & enjoyable for the final users.
Born & raised in Taiyuan, but living in sunny California
since 8 years. Not everyone has the privilege to pursue their passion, and for that, I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to do what I love.
Originally from Taiyuan, China, I embarked on my design journey at the University of Washington and later at DePaul University. After completing my graduate program in 2020, I made the decision to move to Portland, where I began working as a product designer.
Growing up, my dream was always to become a designer. My academic journey led me through Architecture and Landscape Architecture in college. However, it was in my senior year that I stumbled upon user experience design and decided to pursue a graduate degree in Human Computer Interaction.
During a recent visit to my hometown, I noticed that nearly every small business had adopted mobile app for services. However, I couldn't help but notice the lack of accessibility in most of these apps. This realization ignited my passion for creating inclusive designs. I am committed to making a positive impact by designing accessible products in the digital realm.
